Dr. Caitlin DeWilde is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in both small private and large corporate practice before joining the veterinary team at Brentwood Animal Hospital in 2014.
Her professional interests are related to general small animal medicine, particularly medical management of joint and endocrine diseases. She is a Fear Free certified professional, and spearheaded the clinic’s initiative to earn Cat Friendly Certification as well.
Dr. DeWilde is also very involved in organized veterinary medicine and enjoys attending many continuing education events. She recently completed a term as President of the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association, and was one of just ten nationwide veterinarians selected to participate in the AVMA’s Future Leaders program.
Dr. DeWilde and her husband share their home with their young sons in Webster Groves. They have two lazy cats, Oscar and Hurricane, and Dr. DeWilde’s surgery dog from veterinary school, Maple. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, photography and attending concerts.
