Dr. Alicia Rueschhoff started in the veterinary field at the age of 16. She worked at Brentwood Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist prior to going to Veterinary school in 2010. Alicia graduated from the University of Missouri in 2014 and practiced for ~ 3 years in Chicago, Illinois before making her way back here.
Alicia has a special interest in fear free techniques and client education. She recently became fear free certified and is working on bringing these techniques to Brentwood Animal Hospital. Other interests of hers include surgery, neurology and nutrition. She also enjoys attending Continuing Education courses to stay up to date with recent trends.
Alicia spends her free time with her 7 year old son, soon-to-be husband, Tyler, and her 2 dogs, Riley (12 year old mutt) and Layla (8 year old mutt). They love being outdoors doing activities such as rock climbing, biking, hiking and sport activities. Alicia also loves reading when she has free time alone. Her favorite food is frozen yogurt and jalapeno chips and she is terrified of heights!
